I sent a letter to Headmaster Flux this morning. I probably should have had one of your read over it before I did, but I was afraid if I waited to send it I'd lose my nerve. And it was very, very early this morning and I didn't want any of you to see me to wake anyone.
But this is what I said if you want to read it now.

I'm very sorry for my post yesterday. I shouldn't have let you all know I was acted like that. You should all feel secure to come to me when things like this go on. I'm very very sorry for failing you all like that.
For what it's worth I've written a letter to the Headmaster about all this.

I'm not quite sure I understand why we can't make whatever concoction tomorrow will bring in our normal classes. We already have Multicultural Relations, I should think that's enough of an overwhelming class size for any given week. Won't it be so much more difficult for the Professor to supervise everyone at once? Potions can be quite dangerous if not mixed properly. I've never been nervous about potions before.

Mr. Flannigan hit Mr. MacDougal. I can't even give him detention for it. I feel utterly worthless as a prefect. Hufflepuff is usually the GOOD House.

I'm sure everyone saw what Rosalind said in her entry, right?
I think some of it might be directed at us. I know things are really odd right now, and we're all still getting used to having so many strangers around, and then the Quidditchers have got the pressure of tryouts and wanting to make the team and everything. So I think it's only natural that not everyone can behave perfectly all the time during this.
But I'd still really appreciate it if everyone could try to be a little calmer in public. You can lose it to me in the Common Room if you like. But I think it would save everyone a lot of heartache to keep it among badgers as much as we can. Okay?
